International speech and Table Topics contest results are out. Congratulations to Leela Kawani (Champion, International speech contest), Pavani Dukka (Champion, Table Topics contest). Leela and Pavani will be representing Braddell Heights 2 club in Area G2 contest.

Dear members,
Yesterday we had our Area G2 Humorous Speech and Evaluation contests.
Our club was represented by Tan Jun sing and Lorinne Yoong for Humorous speech contest and Lorinne Yoong and Bharath Kumar for Evaluation contest.
Tan Jun Sing came 1st runner up for Humorous speech contest while Bharath kumar came 1st runner up for Evaluation contest. These guys made us proud in their first ever outing as Humorous and Evaluation contestants at Area level. Congratulations!!

Toastmasters International Speech & Table Topics Area S contests

Toastmasters International Speech & Table Topics contests
All the 8 contestants gave interesting speeches on topics from Japanese culture to success and failure. The Table Topics contest was equally interesting when each of the 16 speakers gave their views on the topic: “If you are alone in the wilderness, will you survive?”

Christmas Celebrations
Our club will have a Toastmaster session as per normal followed by some Christmas celebrations. Expect games, performances and a cheery festive atmosphere! There will be a fun gift exchange to show appreciation to our fellow members. Each person is encouraged to bring a gift valued at $5.

Humorous Speech and Evaluation Division S contest
Our club was represented by Benjamin Cheng who took part in the Humorous Speech contest. He came in first runner’s up with his hilarious speech on pregnant men!

Humorous Speech and Evaluation Area S1&S3 contest
Our club was represented by Benjamin Cheng who took part in both contests. He won the Humourous Speech Contest as the Champion and came in as the 1st Runner-up for the Evaluation Contest.

Humorous Speech and Evaluation Club contest
Lorinne Yoong came in first in the humorous speech contest with her speech on a British-born Chinese’s experience in Singapore. Benjamin Cheng came in second with his speech on selecting the aisle seat on the plane. Benjamin Cheng also came in first in the Evaluation contest.

Chandran and Pavani represented our club in the Toastmasters International Table Topics contest at the Area S3 level. Our club also took part in the International Speech contest on that day, and we were represented by Chandran and Leonard.
